The hotel has retained lots of original features indoors and out - from fresco paintings to brickwork, stonework, and flag floors. There are multiple sitting rooms and drawing rooms including a library, billiards room and art gallery.
We had two superior suites. These were excellent: spacious, comfortable and well furnished. It's worth noting there is no lift with all access to rooms via the wide stone staircase. Disabled access may be possible to the garden Room bungalows.
The grounds include a pool and hot tub which we didn't use but look super.
